LaSalle Elementary Teacher Mindset

Pre-K-5
Everything we are working on now is preparing our students to be successful in the next grade. I know what my content looks like and I know what the LDOE says the students need to master this grade level. I have considered every student before teaching this lesson. I have everything needed to support various learners (visual representations and tactile representations). I am honing in on specific skills that my students need and have not mastered for testing as of yet. I am looking at skills that I have not taught and skills not mastered to spiral in for review. I am researching different strategies to re-teach my students because they may not have understood my first attempt. I am equipping each and every one of my students to properly enter my teammate’s class next year!
